2014 BRSC Nationals June 28/29 at Rosebud

Time is Nigh! Don't miss out on the 2014 BRSC Nationals taking place June 28/29 at the Rosebud Silhouette & Benchrest Club. This event is not to be missed! Your Grand-kids will sing songs about it in the years to come! All kidding aside, it is shaping up to be a great turnout. If I haven't spoke to you already please let me know if you will be attending.

Usual format, practice day on Friday, Saturday will be LV100 and HV100 followed by a BBQ (bring your own meat, club will supply everything else), then on Sunday we shoot HV200 and LV200.

Reminder we are only a few days away from the Nats. We have dry camping available, no power or water hookups. Bring a steak for the bbq and the club will provide the sides. First shot will be at 9 on Saturday. Practice day on Friday. Contact me if you need to arrange entry on the Friday.

5:30 AM, rise and shine boys..........

Time to hit the shower, grab a Timmie's XL with Double cream and make tracks to the infamous winds of Rosebud.

What will mother nature toss today.  Yesterday was cool with passing thunder showers and one short downpour.  Will we need the rain bullets out today?  I guess time will tell.  Forecast calling for rain and a high of 15.  BRRRRRRRR.  Can you say long pants and a sweat shirt.  This sure is NOT the same weather we had in St.Louis.  I want that.

Rick deserves the credit , he does all the work to organize the shoots. Nice to see our numbers rising in large part to his efforts and the support of the club and it's members . Hopefully we can keep it going and continue to give competitors a nice venue to shoot at.

It was a cool and windy weekend when once again we gathered at Rosebud to determine the BRSC Champion. Bit of rain on Saturday and good aggs, pretty crazy winds on the Sunday, so Rosebud did not fail in crushing the hopes of many! Myself included!

Many thanks go out to everyone involved: Scorer - Wally, Target Crew Peter and Dale, Rosebud Club, BRSC, Paul, and many other who all contributed to a great event.
