Kenora 100-meter Score Match

Lake of the Woods Gun Club in Kenora hosted a sanctioned 100-meter score match Sunday September 13th, 2020. The weather was cool, and conditions were tricky.

Phil Nick's range record of 250 - 14X fell. Targets will be submitted to the Scoring Committee for consideration of a pending Canadian record in BRSC Heavy Varmint for Score Class.

Tory Phin shot superbly on his 4th target scoring 50 - 5X with a 6ppc in tricky conditions.

Thanks to the out of towners for making the trip to support our range. And thanks to all the volunteers including target crew, scorer, referees, and RSO's who make these matches happen.

What an awesome event. Kenora is one of the nicest places to shoot.  The range is tricky at best of times especially with all the intermediate backstops.

Dwayne put on a clinic.  Slow and steady as usual when on the clock.  It paid off in the end with the switches.

Congrats my little buddy.  And to Phil who came in a distant 2nd......eek and those of us who were even further behind.

Look forward to next year.

Take care and stay safe.
