Rosebud Score Shoot
« on: April 16, 2010, 07:00:39 PM »
Rosebud will hold a score shoot on Saturday June 12. This will be the only non registered match of the year,so if someone wants to try it it will be open to all. For the guys with bench guns we will have a H.V. 100 & 200 yds. match.10.00 fee and trophies. For folks who want to try benchrest but don't have a gun we will offer a factory only class 100 yard match. This class will be free of charge and the only rule is the gun must be a factory gun. No weight limit and no scope power limit. No prizes as we want folks to learn and have fun. Coaching will be allowed so new shooters can take advantage of the knowledge from bench rest shooters. If time allows and the interest is there we will hold a 200 yard match as well.

Do you have an official scorer or do the shooters score their own targets?

Does the scorer get to shoot?

Match starts at 9:00, it would be a good idea to get there at 8:00 to register and get setup.

For those who have never been before, the Rosebud club information can be found here: Rosebud Info

This is the target you will be shooting at.

Glad to hear the Bouwer's made it and I hear Adriaan has a new bench gun! I am sure we have 2 new shooters in  Alberta  in the BR sport!
I got out of the hospital Saturday morning and was debating the recomended bed rest or the match, but take care of the long term instead. Not that it did me any good as I ended up back in ER last night and am back on a pee bag. Looks like they left a chunk too big to pass so may be back in surgery Monday. Intend to be at the next match, but someone will have to help me as no lifting for a couple of months!

Tony get yourself mended up......  I can't be your slave until August Long but I WILL BE THERE.......

I feel for you man.  I used to bug my Dad with the medical boughts he has gone thru and the pee bag.  Quadruple bypass, stent, prostrate, hip, was to have his shoulder done but the muscles haven taken over so that pain is eased, now waiting for total knee replacement.  He is known as the BIONIC MAN.  I told him the Medical world will not let him die, to much invested in him.

Anyways he just tells me, son your days are coming......... :o :o :o  It is amazing how he can joke about it.

Anyways back to the shoot, great to see the Bouwers made it and maybe have become new shooters.

Paul, minus a rifle..... way to go buddy.  Get another together so you can sell it at the next match.

Mike good shooting.....
My house is protected by the good Lord and a GUN............
When I Die I don't wanna go Sober..................................
