I'm going to build another  LV on a Bat and Robertson JTR stock.  Also I'm dragging my rail gun out of the closet ( it's been there for ten years ) and probably get it rechambered.

Just remember last time you were a referee, people wanted to burn you at the stake .

  Bill
Good points. Just thought I'd try something else and some people seem to be having good luck with frozen scopes.
I'm also approaching the white cane stage and have used Bumped 36 to 45 Leupolds before, but these seem to be not as clear as my Weaver 36.
I guess I could always sell a kidney and get a March 50.

Has anyone had any experience with using a frozen scope ?  I'd like to get a Weaver frozen but can't make up my mind if to go ahead with the project. Any thoughts good or bad would help.

We start about 9:00  and this shoot I'm going to try 100yd BR for score and if time permits maybe some Fly targets or a 3 yardage gopher target.

I haven't heard if anyone from the Island is coming to this one , I saw Greg and Dennis at the Kamloops gun show and I think they were going to Alberta to shoot gophers. I haven't heard from anyone in Sechelt .

Any other questions or you can message me.

One time at Clearwater a bunch of guys were hanging around on the Friday night before the weekend shoot . Bill Leeper said it's getting late and better take the kids home, as he opened the car door, his dog who had been running through the creek near by made a bee line for the car ,jumped in made several laps around the inside of the car and then shook himself off.  As Bill looked at the soaking wet interior all he could say was at least I don't have to call the damn dog.

Welcome Matt   Since you're in Saskatoon you're closest to the Regina Club and the club in Selkirk Mb.  Check out the schedules and maybe drop in to see whats happening at these clubs and ask questions , maybe someone will let you use their rifle while you're there. This is a good forum and most times you can get good answers to your questions , so ask away.

It was a good shoot , I think everyone had a good time even though the sheriff tried to put a dampener on things.

I have looked at the Harrel's combo and it would free up some space in my tool box . I use a arbour press now to seat my bullets.

My old Piechotta press has a stripped thread in the aluminum body and if I can't fix it I'll have to get a new one. Now what are you guys using for a press at the range . Any suggestions or preferences?  I'm going to have to get something quick so I'd like some ideas.
