Centerfire Discussions / looking for a Cartridge block
« on: August 20, 2011, 10:27:37 AM »
I'm looking for a cartridge block, the kind that mounts on your front rest and puts it up near the rifle.  Can't seem to find anything, I know there out there I've seen them.   Any body have one or know where I can get one

Centerfire Discussions / Gift certificate
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:06:21 AM »
Ok  Here's a winter time question for all.
If you received a gift certificate from Sinclair's for  $100  ,what would you get from them?
  Just curious.

Centerfire Discussions / Wipe out
« on: November 27, 2010, 03:00:05 PM »
Have any of you used Wipe out bore cleaner ? with or without the accelerator.  Or is there something else out there similar to it?

What results did you get from it ?  and is it as clean to use as they say it is ?

Centerfire Discussions / Frozen scopes
« on: May 03, 2010, 07:18:31 PM »
Has anyone had any experience with using a frozen scope ?  I'd like to get a Weaver frozen but can't make up my mind if to go ahead with the project. Any thoughts good or bad would help.

Centerfire Discussions / Compact reloading press
« on: March 13, 2010, 12:08:03 PM »
My old Piechotta press has a stripped thread in the aluminum body and if I can't fix it I'll have to get a new one. Now what are you guys using for a press at the range . Any suggestions or preferences?  I'm going to have to get something quick so I'd like some ideas.

« on: January 02, 2010, 09:31:08 PM »
The Mission Rod and Gun club  in Mission B.C. is going to hold 2 benchrest for score shoots  March 7 and May 2. Format isn't set yet . may be 100 and 200 yds for score or  200yd for score and 200 yd fly targets.

Centerfire Discussions / Varmint for score
« on: December 30, 2009, 07:26:56 PM »
I'm going to ask the club where I shoot if I can hold a couple of score shoots. Now would it be better for newer shoots if we scored the "X" as 11 points  or as an  "X" . I'm leaning toward the 11 points setup.  Maybe the Eastern guys can speak up on the pros and cons of this setup as I think you have shot this before . Also would you have more than one class. ,  like  Factory and benchrest or ?

« on: December 24, 2009, 10:04:25 AM »
Have any of you thought about using a wood/laminate stock ? and if so who's stock would you get ?

Other than Dan I don't know of any one using one ,and Dan would you go that route again ?
