BR Equipment + Components / Remington 700 S.A firing pin springs.
« on: November 15, 2023, 12:28:20 PM »
FYI....I just received 3 new 700 S.A Rem. springs from Badgeridge industries. Very fast shipping, nice folks, and approx. $50.00 Canadian to the door. This is for 3. If you shoot a Kelbly action, they work well and will pull 22-23lbs when installed. .240" of pin fall and 23 lb pull on the firing pin; are essential to good ignition sequence. I Change mine at least twice in a season

BR Equipment + Components / Manson No-Turn neck 6 PPC Reamer. Sold
« on: November 19, 2021, 09:06:13 AM »
Reamer is .274" neck. I clean up the necks for.271" but it shoots really well with untouched (blue box) Lapua .220 Russian brass. I've only chambered 1 barrel with it and did several after at .268" so I'm selling this one. In retrospect I believe I would have done just as well with this chamber but my ability is not commensurate with good shooters. The reamer is very sharp and delivers the chip load equally back through each flute so is cutting on every one. .2365" live pilot and neck length (hard ro be exact without a drawing) but appears to be .320. Dave Manson reground it from a .276" neck for me so was likely designed for a heavier bullet. A 67 gr. FB bullet can easily be seated into the lands. A 65 gr. BT can also be etched but doesn't leave much in  the neck. 67 gr BT shot extremely well as does a 65 BT.. one could leave the necks longer and have a better purchase on the bullet. $175 to your door.

Optics / SOLD! Sightron 36X42 scope SOLD
« on: January 04, 2021, 08:25:23 PM »
This scope is only lightly used and was mounted on my Panda for one match. There are no ring marks and it has its original packaging and the sun shade. I have found it clear with precise adjustments. So much so I'm replacing it with a 45X Sightron. I have lots of pics available should you be interested.  $550.00 plus shipping.

BR Equipment + Components / Selling Sinclair Completion front rest. SOLD
« on: August 04, 2020, 10:20:02 AM »
This rest is like new and will include an Edgewood Cordura front bag. These are really nice rests to use but I think a coaxial might be faster...especially as I have a bit of arthritis in my hands. I see these for sale for more than $600 U.S.$'s so I'd like $600 but open to offers.

Dovetail, single screw, 30mm Kelbly rings. Kelbly lists these as "Standard" height and they are made to fit the machined rib on a Panda action. $80.00

Glued in 40x with a barrel that competed in ORSA benchrest but retired with unknown shot count. I removed 1.5" and almost all possible erosion, cut new tenon and threads and chambered it in 6BR Norma. Includes 36x Bausch and Lomb. Remarkably accurate on its first outing this week.
I've enclosed the only target it has shot and shot sub .250" with one group in low 1's. The first sight in shot after I installed the barrel is low right. Shot over flags in windy conditions. Has an old Hart 2oz. Trigger which is really nice even against a modern 2oz.trigger. Stock at one time housed a left bolt Bat and has been to at least 4 international competitions. $1200 shipped.
