Gift certificate
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:06:21 AM »
Ok  Here's a winter time question for all.
If you received a gift certificate from Sinclair's for  $100  ,what would you get from them?
  Just curious.

Joe

That would only cover about 1/4 of my order.

Funny that this question came up since I am putting together an order just now.  If I had a $100 gift certificate from Sinclair this is what I would order:

•   A priming tool soft case.  I already have one and discovered it is the perfect size for the Sinclair case neck micrometer.  So I will get another priming tool soft case for my K&M hand primer tool. $8.95
•   A Wilson neck die bushing - .239” diameter.  I want to try a lot of neck tension with the 22PPC-.100 short cartridge.  Mine has a .245” neck.  $14.95
•   A variety of Bore Tech proof-positive jags and proof-positive nylon brushes.  Bore Tech Eliminator is my favorite cleaning solvent and will start using it in all of my rifles and handguns. $25
•   That’s all I have on my order list right now which leaves me with about $50 more to spend.  I would like to try a Pro-Shot stainless steel cleaning rod. The 22/6mm 42” rod is $30.95.  After that shipping eats up most of the remainder of the $100 gift certificate.

My choices are not glamorous.  It’s utilitarian stuff that I really could use.  But if I had a $600 gift certificate I would put it all on the new Sinclair competion shooting rest.

Its fun to share this sort of information.
