BRSC Exeutive
« on: August 07, 2010, 09:52:12 PM »
With the resent resignation of Jeff and Tony from the BRSC Executive positions,
I have not heard anything about getting these key positions filled.
I am unsure of a valid or viable method of getting these positions filled, but I would like
to suggest that we get a discussion going to scope out a process.

I would also like to nominate Calvin Yanchychi for the position of President.
Calvin has shown a passion for the game, and if he will accept the nomination
we are at least one step closer to filling the vacancy, and keeping BRSC
moving in a forward direction.

Well folks the floor is open for discussion.

I'll second the nomination, he has the enthusiasm to keep the organization moving forward.

Mike,

That would be good thing, time will tell if the shooter out there are interested in BRSC.
I would encourage anyone interested in getting on board, to place their name into the hat
for one of the two open positions.

Just a question, not trying to start anything, but are the Provincial reps part of the executive?? I have talked to Gary in the past and he will be here today and apparently he has not received any communication, that I am aware of. If they are not part of the Exec, that explanes it, but if they are!!!!!!!!

The reason for his presence today is we have been working on some killer wind flag for about 6 months now, and we got them done. Unfortunately they will not be for sale. Will send pictures and how to do.

Well Jeff, it appears that I am incorrect in what I read.
Your email note stated that you had resigned, and no definition
was given that there was a timeline involved.
Based on that and the lack on discussion as to the next steps to
proceed, I choose to open the floor for input on the forum.

After reading your last post, I see you have not resigned, so my
post is a moot point at this time.

Bill I was sure I hammered a response to your question but I guess I must have hit a wrong key.  My little Buddy from Kenora advised me of your question.

Anyways in regards to answering your question, No.   At this time the Provincial Reps ARE NOT part of the Executive.  We just are there to gather info and relay it to the Executive.  The bylaws mention a Eastern and Western Rep but at this time we have NONE.  The plan is to change that.  Jeff and Lyle will be compiling the issues that were discussed and need voted on by 2/3rds of the BRSC Memebership.  That was to be one of them.  I am not sure it made it into the discussion at the meeting.  If not,

Jeff make sure that gets into the proposed changes.

Currently it is my MISSION to do a WHOLE BUNCH of investigating into the BRSC and try and understand the East and West and see if it can be viable.  I may ANGER a lot of people by saying that but I AM NOT going to HOLD BACK any punches.  So if anyone from the east is going to be at the NBRSA Nationals I would sure love to sit and chat.......

Sorry in advance everyone.  I love this sport and I will do what I can to continue to love it.

Calvin out.

I need to now try and get my mind off of this until after this weekend and focus on KICKING SOME BUTT in Selkirk by turning things around for my last Canadian shoot of the year.
