Off Topic / Ruger 45-70 custom rifle

Here are some pics for you guys.
Rifle I put togther for myself. I have discovered the 45-70 cal and really think the old timer is great.
There is no wonder in my mind why it has survived close to 140 years. In a Ruger you can make it do some wild things. Target shows 6 shots lowest being #2 (not paying attention to forend placement).
There are 5 more in the glob that measure about .520 as well as I can tell. Not bad for wheel weights eh??

Barrel is a MacLennan 16 twist.

rained all day here today and I felt a tiny bit ambitious. I put an octagon on a couple of old Rail gun barrels.
One full the other half. I'll mount these on actions and try them out. Should be great for a varmit rifle.
Or just to blow out brass for the 243 Ackley. I got a little carried away with the TOOL purchases after I started shooting Benchrest as you can see.
